Fur Ball Dinner Dance
Up for dancing? Then come join The Humane Society at our first annual Fur Ball Dinner Dance! The event will be hosted at Atrio, at 409 Hooper Road in Vestal. Cocktail hour begins at 6:30, with dinner served at 7:30. There'll be a cash bar, and we'll be holding a silent auction AND 50/50 raffle! Plus, The Scott Freeman Band will be on-site to provide live entertainment
Tickets to the Fur Ball are available for a $50.00 donation. Print the ticket form and mail the form, along with your check, to The Humane Society at 2 Jackson St., Binghamton, NY. If you would like to pay by credit card, please call (607) 724-3709 or stop by The Humane Society for assistance. Tickets will be mailed upon receipt of payment.
7th Annual $5000 Raffle!
Please help support the many homeless, abused and abandoned animals of Broome County! They're counting on US and we're counting on YOU!
The raffle drawing will be held on Friday, November 5th at 7PM at the Mad Moose Saloon, 53 Chenango Street, Binghamton. The party is from 5-7 PM and includes food, beer and wine!
Your $50 donation includes dinner for two at 5:30 PM, and your chance to win! Complete the entry form and mail it with your check to The Humane Society. We will mail your ticket to you. Turkey Raffle
Immediately after the Annual $5K Raffle at The Mad Moose Saloon, The Humane Society will also be holding a Turkey Raffle! This will be a speed raffle, with the first drawing at 7:15, and more drawings every 10 minutes afterwards. We'll keep raffling turkeys off until none are left.
Admission is free, and we'll be holding a 50/50 raffle at the same time. A cash bar will also be available.
All proceeds from this event, and the $5K raffle, will benefit The Humane Society by helping to offset the costs of investigating animal cruelty and abuse while providing shelter and care to the many needy animals within Broome County. For more info call us at (607) 724-3709

Can't Adopt? Then Sponsor!
"I wish I could help them all."
Do you feel that way as you browse the pets we have listed? If you can't adopt but your heart goes out to one of our pets you can sponsor them as they wait for their own family. Visit our "Available Animals" page and follow the links to our Petfinder site. Once you're there, select your favorite pet and click "Sponsor Me" on their page.
You'll need to create a Petfinder account if you don't have one already, and then log in. Your contributions are collected and distributed to our shelter by the Petfinder Foundation. We are notified monthly of the sponsorships. Once your donation is received your name will go on your chosen pets' page(s) as their sponsor. Your contribution of just $10 may enable a pet's care until a new, loving family comes along. We can't thank you enough for your support!
Dog and Cat Food Donations
We are currently in urgent need of both Pedigree wet dog food AND Purina dry kitten food. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
We have been trying to feed our dogs a consistent diet and it has really been helping with their overall health. If you are able to donate Pedigree Small Bites Adult Dog Food, your donations will be greatly appreciated. We chose Pedigree Small Bites because both large and small breeds are able to eat this size kibble. Any size bag would help.
We are also trying to feed our cats a consistent diet so if you are able to donate Purina Complete Formula Cat Chow (the blue bag), our cats would really appreciate it! Again any size bag would help. Thank you for your support and donations!
